Get Involved! Join one of our specialized committees, where you can engage weekly while gaining hands-on experience in your area of interest.
Broadcast Committee
- Responsible for the creation of content pertaining to the club and its Esports teams. This will include post-game interviews of players, fun content such as Q&As with members in the community, and more.
- Roles include: Casters, analysts, technical directors, observers, and graphic techs
Media/Content Creation Committee
- Responsible for production at club LANs, match days, and other related events through the club to ensure smooth operation and achieve the goal of getting UNCG Esports’ name out into the community.
- Roles include: Photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and more.
Event Committee
- Responsible for helping with set up and planning of club events and university events with event coordinators.
- Roles include: Event staff, event coordinators, tournament organizers, and more.
Learn to create games!
Are you a lifelong gamer? Have you always wanted to know how to create a game like the ones you’ve been playing? By joining the UNCG Game & Esports Club (UGEC), you can make that happen.
The UGEC club offers weekly workshops to hone your game development skills, and hosts frequent Game Jams where you can make a video game on a team with other club members. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to code! This club welcomes everyone who has an interest in game development – whether it be coding, music, writing, art, or something else!
