The UNCG Gaming and Esports Club is proud to collaborate with Epic Games to launch the Spartan Invitational collegiate tournament series.
The first Spartan Invitational featuring Fortnite will be held December 2, 2022 in the UNCG Esports Arena and Learning Lab. Competitors from NC State, UNC-Charlotte, High Point University, and UNCG will begin competitive play at 5:00 p.m. The tournament will be live-streamed, with shoutcasters LifewithPanda, UNCG students Austin Holder (HurricaneDante), and Mohammed Khalafalla (AnimatedEmperor).
1st place: $500
2nd place: $250
3rd place: $250
