At UNC Greensboro, we are committed to combining engaging student life with academic paths to emerging industries. Our new state-of-the-art esports arena is a hub where these paths combine in a powerful way. 

UNCG invited students and educators to E2Weekend in our Esports Arena and Learning Lab. The event featured a Rocket League tournament and a hands-on training seminar featuring Epic Games’ Unreal Engine.

Accelerator Experience

The Unreal Engine Accelerator Experience is a hands-on educational opportunity specially offered to invited educators. Participants will learn how to bring interactive 3D to the classroom with Fortnite Creative and Unreal Engine on February 3. A half-day session will be offered on February 4 that focuses on broadcast applications for UNCG media studies faculty and students. Registration is free but space is limited.

Spartan Clash featuring Rocket League

Featuring Rocket League

The upcoming Spartan Clash is a Rocket League tournament on February 4th for NC high school, college, and community college gamers. Registration opens in January and players should sign up with a partner to compete against other teams of two. Registration is free, and thousands of dollars in cash and gaming products will be awarded to teams that finish in the top four.
