This event is the culmination of a thrilling season for both Rocket League and Fortnite, highlighting the achievements of young learners and the dynamic experiences esports provides. The top 16 Rocket League teams, 24 Fortnite Duos teams, and 48 Fortnite Solos players across North Carolina high schools will be invited to compete and showcase the results of their hard work. Join us as we support these talented young individuals, and witness firsthand how esports can inspire, empower, and create a lasting impact on learners.

Saturday, May 13th (Rocket League):

  • 9 AM – 10 AM: Check-in and Registration

  • 10:15 AM: Coach and Player Orientation

  • 11 AM – 1:20 PM: Tournament Play

  • 1:20 PM – 2:20 PM: Lunch

  • 2:20 PM – 6:30 PM: Tournament Play

  • 6:45 PM: Trophy Ceremony

Sunday, May 14th: (Fortnite)

Parking

The closest parking deck to the Esports Arena is the Walker Avenue Parking Deck. We will provide 2 parking passes for Walker parking deck for each player and coach. More passes may be available on request. 

  • Without a parking pass, parking decks on campus are $2 for the first hour and $1 for each consecutive hour ($10 max)

  • Once parked, please follow the path on the map below to Moran Commons. The Esports Arena is located on the lower level of Moran Commons.

Local Favorites

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for participating players and coaches on the day of their competition. There will be some light refreshments available for spectators. Dining options on campus will be closed, but several restaurants are within walking distance of the arena.
