What is it?
The Spring 2023 Pilot is a seven-week season of statewide competitions in Rocket League and Fortnite, with virtual playoff rounds and state championships for each title to be held at the state-of-the-art UNCG Esports Arena and Learning Lab.
Who can participate?
Any North Carolina public high school is eligible to participate. There is NO FEE to participate, but schools must have or agree to form a formal Esports Program and work with UNCG SEA to complete the Curriculum Discovery Process and an Esports Technology Review.
What’s the timeline?
UNCG SEA’s FREE Spring 2023 Pilot is open for school registration through February 20.
*All Team Coaches must attend at least one of the following webinars (from 4:30 to 5:30 PM EST).
